Holographic metallized films are a unique type of film that combines the reflective properties of metallized films with the eye-catching, three-dimensional effects of holography. A thin layer of metal, typically aluminium, is deposited onto a plastic film substrate, followed by the application of a holographic pattern. The result is a material that not only has a metallic shine but also displays dynamic visual effects that change depending on the angle of light. These films are widely used in packaging, branding, and security applications due to their striking appearance and functional benefits.

Met PET Holographic Film refers to a metallized polyester film that has been embossed with holographic patterns — giving it that rainbow-like, 3D reflective appearance often seen on premium packaging, labels, gift wraps, and security applications.

Colour or Mylar Holographic Films are offered in a variety of Pantone colour shades. PET Film is available in widths up to 1300 mm with colours on the film side (Outside). There are also metallized colored/mylar films available. For particular applications, colours can also be delivered below the film (inside) and sandwiched between metallizing and holographic on demand. Uses include decorative purposes, advertising, and gift wrapping.

A unique technology is used to create holographic metalized films that transmit the holographic picture to any substrate, such as paper or board. If necessary, the transferred surface is suitable for additional UV printing. Supply may come in the form of seamless or shimmed holographic graphics. Holographic Film designs can be either generic or customized, or they can combine both.
